OUR DOCTORS
Dr. Jesus Rios
Dr. Jesus Rios holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of the Sacred Heart in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where he was also a collegiate volleyball player. He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College and holds additional certifications in Nutrition and Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) Therapy.
During his clinical training, Dr. Rios completed rotations at the University at Buffalo and the Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center, gaining valuable experience in multidisciplinary, evidence-based patient care.
Dr. Rios is a licensed Chiropractic Physician in the state of Florida and is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE). He is fully bilingual in Spanish and English, allowing him to effectively communicate with a diverse patient population and provide culturally competent care.
Dr. Rios has extensive experience working with personal injury patients, helping individuals recover from auto accidents and other trauma-related conditions through tailored chiropractic care and rehabilitation strategies.
Since moving to Florida in 2019, Dr. Rios has been a dedicated member of the clinical team at First Health Winter Springs, where he focuses on delivering comprehensive, patient-centered chiropractic care.
Outside of his professional work, Dr. Rios leads an active lifestyle and enjoys cycling, mountain biking, golfing, and playing racket sports. He also values quality time with his family.
OUR STAFF
Ashley G. Cardona is originally from Puerto Rico and has been residing in the United States since 2017. She earned her Associate of Science degree in Radiologic Technology in Puerto Rico in 2016, during which time she completed extensive internship training at several prestigious hospitals from 2014 to 2016. After relocating to the U.S., she obtained her Phlebotomy certification in New York in 2019 and began working with Quest Diagnostics.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Imaging Sciences from Keiser University and recently completed her Master’s degree in Health Services Management and Evaluation from Ana G. Méndez University. These academic achievements have strengthened her leadership abilities and broadened her expertise in healthcare systems and quality improvement.
Fluent in both Spanish and English, Ashley is able to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations and provide culturally sensitive care. With a deep passion for patient care, Ashley brings her clinical experience to the chiropractic setting at First Health. There, she supports patients in achieving their wellness goals through evidence-based, patient-centered care.
Outside of her professional life, Ashley enjoys spending quality time with her family and dogs. Together, they love exploring Florida, especially spending weekends at the beach, doing mountain biking and golf. Ashley is dedicated to providing compassionate, detail-oriented care and is honored to be a part of each patient’s journey toward better health.
